Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. The role involves minimizing project costs while ensuring quality standards and compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control throughout project lifecycle
• Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate contracts
• Prepare interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts
• Assist in procurement and subcontractor management
• Review drawings and specifications to identify potential cost issues
• Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements
• Prepare regular financial and progress reports for management
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in factory, semiconductor, or plant projects is an added advantage
• Familiarity with industrial construction standards and practices

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
