HIP Group Hiring! Full Time Content Writer - Production Coordinator in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 2,800 - Ricebowl

This is not a typical desk job. You will be on the ground, travelling, interviewing, shooting, and producing content that tells real stories across lifestyle and travel verticals. You will write for digital and print, appear on camera across social platforms, coordinate productions from planning to post, and contribute to every stage of the creative process.

Speed matters. Quality matters more. You are someone who can research deeply, write fast, and produce content that performs without sacrificing accuracy or brand voice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

• Craft compelling and informative articles on lifestyle and travel topics for print, digital, and online platforms
• Write engaging social media captions that align with brand voice and drive audience engagement
• Develop website articles and blog posts to support marketing and content strategies
• Conduct thorough research — including fieldwork when necessary — to gather accurate information, insights, and trends
• Maintain a high standard of writing quality, grammar, style, and consistency across all platforms
• Collaborate with the production and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with project goals, campaign strategies, and publication deadlines
• Apply SEO best practices to all written content to maximise discoverability and organic reach

On-Camera Presence

• Appear confidently in photo and video content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
• Represent the brand authentically in front of the camera during shoots, field trips, and travel content
• Deliver scripted and unscripted pieces to camera with energy and consistency

Production Coordination

• Lead production planning by developing detailed schedules, coordinating locations, and managing logistics for all video shoots
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure all necessary resources, equipment, and personnel are prepared for smooth execution
• Oversee talent coordination, script readiness, and post-production support to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
• Prepare moodboards to support the visual style and concept of projects
• Assist in preparing materials and supporting presentations of production plans and progress reports to clients
• Travel outstation as required for video shoots, field research, or content gathering in alignment with production schedules

Quality Assurance

• Review and proofread content and scripts to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines
• Collaborate with editors and videographers to maintain the highest production and content quality standards

Adaptability

• Assist with various production tasks including on-set support, prop organisation, and post-production activities
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the company in support of broader content and production goals

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Writing & Content

• Proven writing experience — portfolio showing articles, blog posts, or digital content
• Strong command of English — grammar, style, storytelling, and brand voice
• Understanding of SEO principles and ability to apply them to written content
• Ability to research independently and execute with minimal briefing
• Fast turnaround — can produce quality content under deadline pressure
• Experience in lifestyle, travel, or editorial content is a strong advantage

On-Camera & Social

• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera — photo and video
• Natural on-screen presence across short-form and long-form content
• Understands platform differences — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — and adapts accordingly
• Experience creating or contributing to social media content across multiple platforms

Production

• Experience in production coordination, scheduling, or creative project management
• Able to prepare moodboards, shot lists, and production schedules
• Comfortable managing logistics — locations, talent, equipment, timelines
• Understands the full production pipeline from pre-production to post
• Willing and able to travel outstation regularly as part of the role
