Job Scope
The Regional Procurement Sourcing role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across the assigned region to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality, and compliance. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives. KPIs for the role: Cost savings and value delivery Supplier performance and risk mitigation Contract compliance Stakeholder satisfaction KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIPS (IF ANY) Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry): 1. Typically, 2–5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience 2. Strong experience in regional or multinational environments 3. Proven track record of cost savings and supplier negotiations Cost savings and value delivery Supplier performance and risk mitigation Contract compliance Stakeholder satisfaction N/A Other skills required: Strong negotiation and commercial acumen Strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities Supplier and stakeholder relationship management Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle etc.) Excellent communication and presentation skills (English, Mandarin preferably) Ability to work across cultures and countries.
Job Requirement
Strategic Sourcing • Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement objectives • Lead competitive sourcing activities including RFQ/RFP/RFI processes • Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms • Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value-creation initiatives Supplier Management • Identify, evaluate, and onboard regional suppliers in line with company standards • Drive supplier performance management (quality, delivery, cost, ESG, risk) • Build long-term strategic partnerships with key regional suppliers • Manage supplier risks and ensure business continuity Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with regional and global stakeholders (Operations, Finance, and Branches) • Act as procurement subject matter expert for assigned categories or regions • Support new product introductions, projects, and demand changes Contract & Compliance • Ensure contracts comply with corporate policies, legal requirements, and regional regulations • Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing, sustainability, and governance standards Data & Reporting • Track and report procurement KPIs (savings, performance, compliance) • Use spend analysis and market intelligence to support sourcing decisions • Continuously improve procurement processes and tools
