Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand strategy and objectives from a business perspective leading to defining, quantifying and tracking business impact and interpreting user behaviour data
• Ability to design customer journeys and identify product features that address user needs and pain points
• Strong mind-set for problem resolution, identifying gaps and inefficiencies in operational processes
• Self-driven to conduct own discovery, analysis, interviews, discussions and negotiations with an eye on achievement of end goal
• Practices strong attention to detail and is meticulous in understanding work at hand
• Quick to grasp potentially new concepts
• Technical Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting legacy system behaviour and decomposing monolith logic.
• Proficient in Figma, Jira, Confluence, ************* and other collaborative/visualization tools.
• Clear understanding of the systems used in banking and Malaysian banking regulations (BNM guidelines, PDPA, operational risk frameworks)
• Experienced in the preparation of user stories or functional specifications for technical development
• Experienced in producing process mapping and integration workflows
• Experienced in the development of test cases, test scripts and conducting user acceptance testing
• Experienced in design thinking, agile and lean methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Min 5-year experience hands-on BA experience, preferably with 3 years in Malaysian Banking system implementation and preferably digital projects
• Any related accreditation in business analysis, product ownership, design thinking, innovation, agile methodology, LEAN is an added advantage
• Good understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud-native concepts, and Azure PaaS (App Service, Functions, APIM, Storage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, analytics platforms),
• Working knowledge in Azure, NodeJS, JBOSS.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
