Job Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting the finance department in maintaining compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Monitor accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents for audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
RequirementsEducation
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in handling full set accounts is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL Accounting, UBS, SAP, etc.).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
