Job Responsibilities
1. Quality Control & Food Safety
Monitor daily food production processes to ensure products meet company quality standards.
Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
Ensure food safety compliance according to Halal requirements.
Verify product consistency in taste, appearance, texture, labeling, and packaging.
Perform routine temperature checks
2. Halal Compliance
Ensure all processes comply with JAKIM Halal requirements and company SOPs. (MSDS , MPPHM, MALAYSIA STANDARD)
Monitor halal handling procedures, ingredient segregation, cleanliness, and documentation.
Assist during Halal audits and maintain proper Halal-related records.
Ensure no cross-contamination between halal and non-halal materials.
3. Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring
Conduct hygiene inspections for production areas, equipment, and staff.
Ensure staff comply with personal hygiene and sanitation standards.
Monitor pest control, cleaning schedules, and sanitation records.
Report and follow up on any hygiene or food safety non-conformance.
4. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain QC records, checklists, monitoring forms, and production reports.
Prepare reports on quality issues, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
Ensure all documentation is updated and audit-ready.
5. Audit & Compliance
Assist in internal and external audits (Halal, local authority , customer audits).
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health (KKM) food regulations.
Support implementation of food safety policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Supplier & Raw Material Monitoring
Inspect incoming raw materials and verify supplier compliance.
Reject materials that do not meet quality or halal requirements.
Coordinate with purchasing and production teams regarding quality concerns.
7. Training & SOP Enforcement
Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and halal awareness.
Ensure SOPs are properly followed in all production activities.
Promote a strong food safety and quality culture within the kitchen.
Key KPI
Zero major non-conformance during audits.
Reduction in product complaints and wastage.
100% completion of QC records and monitoring forms.
Compliance with halal and food safety standards.
Improvement in hygiene inspection scores.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
