About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our Logistics team and help keep daily delivery operations running smoothly. From monitoring deliveries to coordinating with drivers and solving operational hiccups in real time, you’ll get hands-on exposure to the fast-moving world of logistics and operations.

This internship is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves staying organized, communicates confidently, and is excited to learn how operations work behind the scenes in a growing startup.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Delivery Monitoring & Coordination

• Assist in monitoring delivery progress and ensuring schedules are followed.
• Support drivers by responding to operational queries during active delivery periods.
• Escalate delivery issues such as delays, route challenges, or cancellations to the Operations team when necessary.
• Help coordinate solutions to minimize disruptions to delivery timelines.

2. Driver Communication & Support

• Assist in communicating daily schedules and instructions to drivers before dispatch.
• Provide operational updates or route information to drivers when required.
• Support the team in ensuring drivers follow operational guidelines and procedures.

3. Compliance & Quality Checks

• Assist in ensuring drivers adhere to hygiene, safety, and company SOPs.
• Verify proof-of-delivery and task completion records.
• Flag any irregularities or issues to the Logistics Manager.

4. Operational Records & Data Entry

• Update delivery records, manifests, and operational logs accurately.
• Help maintain organized documentation of daily operations.
• Support the team with basic reporting and data updates.

5. General Operational Support

• Provide administrative and operational support to the logistics team.
• Highlight recurring operational issues or feedback observed during daily operations.
• Support ad-hoc logistics and operations tasks when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in any field
• A strong communicator who enjoys coordinating and solving problems on the go
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, or picking up new tools quickly
• Prior internship, part-time, or campus leadership experience is a bonus – but not required
• Positive attitude, collaborative, willingness to learn, and ready to jump in where needed
