Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the Building Construction field.
  • Experience in Semiconductor or Data Centre projects is an added advantage.
  • Must be able to operate Microsoft Project / Primavera P6.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred; however, candidates from Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction Management Engineering are also encouraged to apply.

Scope of Services / Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing overall construction works, site planning, work programmes, construction operations, and project management activities.
  • Support and provide guidance to site personnel in carrying out daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Assist in managing and administering the site office to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Monitor project budget control, cost tracking, and project revenue under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and track the master and detailed work programmes to ensure project completion within the agreed timeline.
  • Assist in planning work programmes and monitor implementation according to the “S” curve and project schedule.
  • Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with quality standards, safety regulations, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor work progress, drawing status, catalogues, material submissions, and sample approval status.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractor performance to ensure works are aligned with the master project schedule.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and management representatives.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and external stakeholders to support smooth project implementation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and site updates to management.
  • Assist in monitoring project claims, certifications, and documentation to ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities as instructed by management from time to time.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
