studioMilou is an international architecture practice based in Singapore, France and Vietnam. The Singapore office is seeking an Architect with at least 5 years of experience to contribute to project delivery, team support, and the development of AI‑assisted design workflows.

About the role

This position combines architectural design responsibilities with the development and application of AI‑assisted tools in practice. Approximately 50% of the role focuses on project design, coordination, documentation, and technical support, while the other 50%supports AI‑related experimentation and implementation within the studio.

The Architect will work closely with the Director of the Singapore office and collaborate with colleagues across Singapore, France and Vietnam, as well as with external AI specialists where relevant.

Key responsibilities

Architectural responsibilities

• Develop architectural projects from concept design through design development and documentation.
• Implement the design direction established by the Director of the Singapore office.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers on project development and delivery.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and day‑to‑day task management within the office.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
• Contribute to presentations, submissions, and overall design development within the practice.

AI‑related responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and use of AI‑assisted design tools and workflows within the studio.
• Support the integration of AI into design processes, representation, studies, and internal research.
• Collaborate with studioMilou teams in Singapore, France and Vietnam, as well as external consultants, on AI‑related initiatives.
• Help build internal knowledge and methods for the use of AI in architectural practice.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, detailing, and project development.
• Design experience in reputable architecture or design firms.
• Strong graphic, design, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in AI‑assisted design or computational tools in architecture.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and across international offices.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to contribute to team and project management.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Rhino, Grasshopper, or similar 3D and parametric tools.
• Exposure to AI tools, scripting, or computational workflows in a design context.
• Interest in research‑driven and concept‑led architectural practice.
