Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare menus according to the company’s concept and operational needs
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation processes
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers on food ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations and company procedures
• Control food cost and minimise wastage
• Assist in improving recipes, menu items, and kitchen workflow

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef / Head Chef / Senior Cook in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety practices
• Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant culinary qualifications are an advantage
