Job Description
Responsibilities
At Mosaic, we don’t just look after children; we ignite their curiosity. We are a premium, boutique education provider in the East Coast, defined by our unique "play-inspired learning" philosophy.
We believe that even our youngest learners (2–18 months) are capable of immense discovery. Our mission is to empower them to be confident, creative, and joyful learners from day one. We are looking for educators who share our vision of the child as a capable, curious individual.
We are looking for more than an Infant Care Teacher; we are seeking a dedicated Educarer.
In this role, you are the bridge between home and school. You will provide a secure, nurturing environment where infants feel safe to explore, while simultaneously acting as their first guide in a world of sensory discovery. You are a partner to parents, a protector of their peace of mind, and an architect of joyful moments.
Holistic Observation: Observe and document each infant's unique milestones, tailoring your care to support their individual physical and emotional growth.
Collaborative Culture: Work closely with your team to create a harmonious and supportive environment, modeling our core values of Respect and Collaboration
Qualified: You must possess an Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or a Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC).
The "Nurturing" Heart: You have a genuine warmth and patience. You understand that for an infant, safety is an emotional feeling, not just a physical state.
The "Innovator" Mind: You are curious and eager to learn. You see a diaper change or a mealtime not just as a task, but as an opportunity for connection and language development.
Communication Skills: You are articulate and confident in speaking with professionals, helping to ease the anxiety of new parents.
Sign-On Bonus: We value expertise and commitment. Successful candidates will receive a Sign-On Bonus (terms apply).
Professional Growth: Access to training in our "play-inspired learning" methodology and opportunities for career progression.
A Premium Environment: Work in a well-resourced, supportive environment with optimal teacher-child ratios, allowing you to focus on quality care.
Medical & Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage, up to 30days annual leave and other staff benefits.
