Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Corporate Secretarial Manager will oversee a portfolio of Singapore-incorporated entities and lead the delivery of high-quality corporate secretarial and compliance services. This role requires strong technical knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, leadership capability, and the ability to build trusted client relationships while ensuring operational excellence within the department.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a portfolio of local and foreign companies across various industries

Ensure compliance with the Singapore Companies Act and ACRA regulatory requirements

Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters, including:

Company incorporations

Annual filings

Preparation of resolutions and minutes

Share transfers and corporate restructuring exercises

Strike-offs and liquidation matters

Advise clients on corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements

Review and approve documents prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and quality

Lead, mentor, and supervise junior corporate secretarial staff

Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities where necessary

Monitor deadlines and ensure timely statutory submissions

Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within the department

Support business development initiatives and contribute to client retention efforts

Requirements

Degree in Business, Law, Accountancy, Corporate Administration, or related discipline

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience in a corporate services firm, accounting firm, or professional services environment

ICSA / Chartered Secretary qualification preferred

Strong knowledge of:

Singapore Companies Act

ACRA compliance requirements

Corporate governance practices

Experience managing a team and reviewing work independently

Familiarity with corporate secretarial software and filing platforms

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced and client-focused environment
