QA Automation Engineer

Singapore | Hybrid Working

We’re partnering with a high-growth blockchain fintech that’s redefining how global financial institutions handle clearing & settlement.

They are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help drive quality across a high-performance platform environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong automation testing experience and exposure to financial services or blockchain environments who enjoys working across modern cloud-native architectures and complex distributed systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios
• Reviewing source code and technical requirements to build comprehensive testing strategies
• Performing frontend, API, integration, performance, and stress testing
• Building and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks
• Using AI-driven tools and approaches to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and testing speed
• Supporting production issues, debugging, and root cause analysis
• Collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Testing across web applications, microservices, databases, blockchain infrastructure, and cloud environments

Tech & Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in Software QA / Automation Testing
• Strong automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Ability to understand source code and translate functionality into effective test coverage
• Experience with performance and stress testing methodologies/tools
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or Go
• Experience with SQL and database testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Experience testing cloud-native applications, Docker, Kafka, MQ, or microservices
• Experience using AI tools to enhance QA processes and automation workflows is highly desirable
• English and Mandarin speaking skills required
• Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
