Responsibilities

We're Hiring: Machine Operator (CNC Turret Punch)!

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator with experience in CNC turret punching to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Role: Machine Operator (CNC Turret Punch)

Key Responsibilities 1. Machine Operation & Setup
  • Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch machines for precision metal fabrication work.
  • Perform machine changeovers and multiple setups for different product lines and material specifications.
  • Manage all day-to-day operational activities related to CNC punching machines.

2. Quality Control
  • Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
  • Inspect finished workpieces to ensure compliance with engineering tolerances using precision measuring tools such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.

3. Workflow & Collaboration
  • Coordinate closely with the Warehouse and Production departments to ensure smooth material flow and uninterrupted production processes.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of junior or newly hired staff when required.

4. Workplace Safety & Maintenance
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S practices.
  • Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the Factory Manager when necessary.

Role Requirements Education & Qualifications
  • Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC Turret Punch machines within the metal fabrication industry.
  • Strong understanding of machine setup procedures and engineering tolerances.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Physical & Personal Attributes
  • Physically fit and capable of performing workshop duties, including prolonged standing and material handling.
  • Able to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication across departments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Quality & Efficiency
  • Complete assigned punching and fabrication tasks with minimal errors while meeting production deadlines and quality standards.

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all Health & Safety procedures and achieving zero avoidable incidents.
