Job Description
Responsibilities
Our esteemed client, an established third-party logistics (3PL) company, is searching for a Logistics Coordinator:
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule collection and delivery timelines in coordination with internal teams, port operators, and external vendors
Arrange and coordinate local trucking activities for import and export shipments, including LCL, OOG (Out-of-Gauge), and breakbulk movements
Evaluate shipment specifications and determine suitable vehicle types based on cargo dimensions, route limitations, and operational requirements
Act as the main point of contact between customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of jobs
Track ongoing deliveries, address operational issues promptly, and provide timely updates to relevant parties
Ensure all jobs are properly completed and documented for billing and invoicing purposes
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry is preferred.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Familiarity with local road networks, port operations, and yard processes is advantageous
Basic knowledge of import/export documentation and permit handling will be beneficial
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management and multitasking abilities
Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Additional Information:
Salary: Basic Up to $3,000 + Twice Yearly Variable Bonus
Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Near MRT)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am -5:30pm
