Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff across assigned areas.
Inspect work performed to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards.
Schedule staff shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate coverage.
Provide training to new cleaning staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and cleaning procedures.
Monitor inventory and request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
Address and resolve staff and client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, attendance, incidents, and supply usage.
Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports on cleaning performance and issues.
Assist in hands-on cleaning tasks when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a cleaning role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory position.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Good organizational and time-management abilities. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties when necessary.
Basic computer skills (for reports, emails, scheduling, etc.) preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:
Certification in Health & Safety or related field is a plus.
Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or school cleaning environments.
