Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support banking system enhancement and lending platform initiatives within a corporate banking environment. This role will focus on requirement gathering, functional analysis, system support, testing coordination, and integration activities across lending-related applications and operational workflows.
The ideal candidate should possess experience working within banking or financial services environments and be comfortable coordinating with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to support system implementation and operational improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Functional Support
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for banking and lending applications
- Translate operational requirements into functional specifications and process documentation
- Support requirement workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders
- Perform functional mapping between business processes and system capabilities
Lending & Banking Systems Support
- Support lending platform implementation, enhancement, and operational support activities
- Assist in managing workflows related to loan processing, repayment, servicing, and customer facilities
- Coordinate with technical teams on issue investigation, defect resolution, and system enhancement activities
- Support reconciliation and validation activities across integrated systems and applications
Integration & Testing Support
- Assist with system integration activities including interface mapping and data validation
- Support SIT and UAT activities including test preparation, execution, and result validation
- Track and coordinate defects, issue resolution, and testing progress with project teams
- Participate in deployment readiness and post-implementation support activities
Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, testing documents, and operational reports
- Work closely with project teams, business users, and vendors to support project delivery objectives
- Maintain proper documentation for system changes, operational issues, and enhancement requests
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience within banking, financial services, or lending system environments
- Experience supporting banking applications, lending platforms, or financial systems preferred
- Exposure to system implementation, enhancement, testing, or production support activities
Functional & Technical Skills
- Good understanding of banking operations, lending workflows, or financial system processes
- Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional documentation
- Exposure to system integration, API/interface support, or data validation activities is advantageous
- Familiarity with testing activities such as SIT, UAT, and defect management
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and reporting will be advantageous
