Job Summary

The BIM Technician will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and manage BIM models, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with standards, and effective integration across project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to support project design and execution
  • Coordinate and verify data consistency across multiple BIM models and disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate BIM models and data seamlessly into project workflows
  • Establish, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure compliance with industry and project requirements
  • Manage data exchange processes between different software platforms and project participants to facilitate smooth collaboration
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between building systems and components to prevent design and construction issues
  • Create 4D construction sequencing and phasing plans to visualize project schedules and support construction planning
  • Develop and maintain BIM documentation, including model views, sheets, and reports, to support project communication and record-keeping
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical BIM software and data management issues to maintain project progress
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with evolving BIM technologies and industry trends

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and regulations relevant to BIM implementation
  • Strong attention to detail to manage complex data sets accurately within BIM models
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work productively with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve BIM-related challenges
  • Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Degree or certification in BIM, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
