What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with the school’s lab support team to ensure the smooth and effective operation of laboratory facilities. Serving as the primary point of contact for Virtual Reality (VR)–related lab activities, the role involves the setup, maintenance and support of VR headsets. Additional responsibilities include managing computer systems, performing software installations and providing technical support for specialised lab equipment. The candidate will also deliver technical assistance to a wide range of stakeholders across the university. This role is well suited for individuals with a strong passion for immersive technologies and hands‑on technical support, offering the opportunity to contribute to a reliable and efficient lab environment that supports the school’s teaching, learning, and research activities.

Job Requirements

  • A Diploma in Immersive Media, Information Technology, Information Systems or related fields.
  • Minimum with 1 or more years of relevant experience, ideally in IT or higher education environment
  • Able to work independently
  • Team player and possess good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in the use of e-learning and multimedia technology is an added advantage
