GWS Living Art specialises in urban greenery solutions such as green walls, green roofs, rainwater harvesting systems, and automated irrigation. Since 2017, we’ve been building urban carbon sinks and advancing nature-based solutions for cities.

Brief Description:

As a Project Associate (Research & Product Development), you will support both research initiatives and project execution across sustainability and green innovation projects.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organised, and curious, with a strong interest in sustainability, R&D, and real-world green infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Associate (Research & Product Development), you will be part of the Project team, you will be expected to:

1. Research & Development

  • Support data collection, field studies, and experimental trails
  • Assist in preparing research reports, case studies, and documentation
  • Work with institutions and partners (e.g. universities, agencies, collaborators)
  • Support ongoing sustainability research project and initiatives

2. Product Development

  • Assist in product testing, prototyping, and refinement
  • Support certification, compliance, and technical documentation
  • Contribute to development of green infrastructure solutions

3. Project & Operations Support

  • Manage technical drawing, project documents, and records
  • Support lab operations (equipment, materials, workspace organisation)
  • Laise with suppliers, contractors, and internal terms
  • Assist with on-site support for trials, installations, and programmes
  • Perform general coordination and administrative tasks

Who You Are:

  • Hands-on, curious, and willing to work in both field and office environments
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Strong interest in sustainability, green technology, and applied innovation
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Eager to learn and grow in research and product development

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Design or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates welcome)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in both lab and field environments
  • Able to start on short notice is an advantage

Works Environment:

This role involves a mix of office, laboratory, and fieldwork. You may be required to support site visits, installations, and hands-on project work.
