Job Summary

We are seeking an Analyst Programmer skilled in Java and ETL to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and data solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements to translate them into detailed application specifications for development teams
• Design, develop, test, and implement application systems and web-based applications to meet business needs
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and ETL solutions ensuring system reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to minimize system downtime
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective and scalable solutions
• Prepare clear technical documentation to support system enhancements and maintenance activities
• Participate actively in system testing, deployment, and post-implementation support to ensure smooth operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development, programming, and systems support
• Proficient in Java application development and ETL processes to build and maintain data workflows
• Skilled in analysing and translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills applied to application support and development
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills to collaborate within teams and with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment to meet project goals
• Experience working with DB2 and relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Oracle for data management
• Familiarity with Windows and Windows Server environments for application deployment and support
• Experience with XML, Java, and JavaScript technologies for application development
• Proficient in using IDE tools such as Eclipse, JDeveloper, NetBeans, or equivalents for coding and debugging
• Knowledge of MS SQL / MSSQL databases for database development and maintenance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with enterprise application development frameworks and relational databases to enhance application scalability
• Familiarity with system integration and data migration processes to support seamless data flow between systems
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies and best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Experience with Qlik Talend or other ETL tools as an added advantage for data integration tasks

Employment type: Contract - 24 months

Location: Central Region, Singapore

Working Hours: 8:30AM to 6:00PM (Mon-Fri)

Salary: $6000 - 7500 per month (no bonus)

Working Arrangement: Full Onsite/Hybrid
