Document Control and Administration

• Managing Submittals: Reviewing and tracking contractor submittals (materials, shop drawings, product data) to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Processing RFIs: Drafting and managing Requests for Information to clarify discrepancies or missing details in the architectural and engineering plans.
• Maintaining Drawings: Keeping a highly organized set of updated blueprints (redlining) and distributing them to the field teams.

Technical Coordination and Engineering

• Interpreting Plans: Translating complex engineering blueprints and technical designs into actionable, day-to-day tasks for tradesmen and foremen.
• Quality Assurance/Control: Conducting regular site walk-throughs to verify that work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Constructability Reviews: Collaborating with architects and senior engineers to flag and resolve potential structural or logistical challenges before they disrupt building operations.

️ Planning, Scheduling, and Logistics

• Material Procurement: Organizing the timely ordering, delivery, and staging of equipment and raw materials so the field teams have what they need when they need it.
• Scheduling Assistance: Assisting in creating, updating, and forecasting project timelines and coordinating the workflow of multiple trade teams.
• Trade Partner Coordination: Facilitating daily foreman huddles to plan, build, and finish the subsequent day’s sequence of work
• Cost and Progress Tracking
• Budget Monitoring: Tracking project expenditures and updating the Project Manager on financial trends or budget deviations.
• Reporting: Compiling daily reports, project status updates, and progress logs for stakeholders and management.

Closeout Documentation: Generating project punch lists and assembling final closeout materials once the construction is physically completed.

• Safety and Problem Solving
• Troubleshooting: Formulating practical, real-time solutions to unforeseen field issues (e.g., crane pick plans, traffic control) that eventually get documented into formal RFIs.

Safety Enforcement: Leading or assisting with safety protocols, ensuring workers wear proper PPE and safety guidelines are actively being met.
