Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate machine build schedules with engineering and production teams
- Track project timelines for fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery
- Monitor project progress to ensure on-time completion
- Follow up with departments on pending tasks
Customer & Vendor Communication
- Communicate with customers regarding project status and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers for parts, materials, and components
- Arrange meetings between customers, engineers, and production teams
- Handle RFQ (Request for Quotation) follow-ups and documentation
Documentation
- Prepare project reports and progress updates
- Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials), drawings, and technical documents
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents
- Ensure proper filing of engineering revisions and project records
Production & Engineering Support
Coordinate between:
- Mechanical engineers
- Electrical engineers
- Purchasing
- Production
- QA/QC
- Assembly/Wireman/Installation/service teams
Track machine FAT/SAT schedules:
FAT = Factory Acceptance Test
SAT = Site Acceptance Test
Logistics & Installation
- Arrange machine shipment and delivery
- Coordinate installation schedules at customer sites
- Support overseas shipment/export documentation if applicable
- Plan technician travel and site work arrangements
Budget & Progress Tracking
- Track project costs and procurement status
- Monitor delays, shortages, or technical issues
- Escalate risks to project managers or management
Software Used

- SolidWorks viewing software
- Email & reporting tools
