DÜRR NDT, a German manufacturer of digital industrial X-ray equipment is looking to grow its Malaysia-based software development team.

Since 2019, Bandar Sunway has housed our center for software innovation and development for many of our software products.

We work together with our colleagues in Germany to design and develop NDT software solutions for hundreds of customers worldwide including companies in industries ranging from oil and gas (BP, Shell, Total, Applus, Oceaneering) to aviation (Rolls Royce, GE Aviation, Safran, Bombardier) as well as space (Blue Origin, NASA, Virgin Galactic).

We are looking for a talented Computer Vision ML Engineer to join our team and help drive the development of our AI enhancement tools.

The role:

• Design and develop software tools for image processing and analysis
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
• Learn and utilize agile software methodologies while using the latest tools and technologies

Requirements:

• Experience in computer vision libraries and tools such as OpenCV
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• Strong programming skills and knowledge in data handling, machine learning frameworks and MLOps.
• Familiarity with any of the following is beneficial: CI/CD, Unit Testing, Git, CUDA, Python
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Professional fluency in English
