What you will do:

As our Project engineer, you will:

  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, tasks, and health, regularly updating supervisors on status.

  • Conduct comprehensive quality control checks on budgets, schedules, and plans, reporting any issues to the Service Operations Manager

  • Identify potential project risks and propose resolutions to ensure project and service success.

  • Foster effective communication with stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication.

  • Participate in site meetings as necessary to stay informed and address project or service requirements.

  • Assist in regular quality audits for suppliers and subcontractors, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Manage subcontractors involved in projects/services, ensuring adherence to requirements and timelines.

  • Support the Branch in identifying and pursuing variation order opportunities.

  • Participate in activities related to new business quotations and proposals.

  • Ensure compliance with engineering codes, standards, and company QA/QC systems, with a particular emphasis on the unique challenges and regulations governing marine and offshore operations.

What we look for:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Marine with 1 year suggested minimum experience.

  • Basic knowledge/exposure in thermodynamics and experience in HVAC&R/Fire or related industry is added advantage

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to learn new things
