How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of operational risk management principles and practices. You will need to be able to identify and assess potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies. You will also need to be able to communicate complex risk issues to stakeholders, and work collaboratively to implement risk management solutions.
What You Will Be Doing:
Identify and assess operational risks that could impact our business operations
Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that risk management practices are robust and effective
Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure that our risk management practices are up-to-date and effective
Develop and maintain risk management reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders
What We Are Looking For:
A degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, finance, or business
At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management or a related field. Exposure to Operational Resilience/Business Continuity Management will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and practices
Holder of ECF on Operational Risk Management (ORM) accredited by HKIB is preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve common goals
