Key Responsibilities1. Market Growth Strategy (Malaysia & Singapore)
- Strategic Execution: Drive CGI’s regional growth by leading Malaysia as the primary onshore market and Singapore as a strategic nearshore destination.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Develop structured market plans, including account segmentation, target lists, and value propositions tailored for both countries.
- Solution Alignment: Convert market trends into actionable growth plays across Managed Services, Cloud, Data/AI, Cybersecurity, and Application Modernization.
2. Client Acquisition & Account Expansion
- New Business Development: Identify and secure new enterprise clients within the IT services and consulting sector.
- Account Farming: Expand existing relationships by identifying "whitespace" opportunities and positioning CGI as a strategic partner.
- End-to-End Pursuit: Lead the full sales lifecycle—from initial discovery and proposal to high-stakes negotiation and final closure.
3. Executive Stakeholder Management
- C-Suite Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Consultative Selling: Articulate business value and build credible business cases to influence procurement and business sponsors.
4. Nearshore Value & Cross-Border Collaboration
- Hybrid Delivery Model: Position Malaysia-based delivery as a high-value "Onshore" solution for local clients and a cost-effective "Nearshore" model for the Singapore market.
- Internal Orchestration: Collaborate with regional solution owners and delivery teams to shape win-themes, resource planning, and ensure post-signature success.
5. Commercial Leadership
- Deal Shaping: Lead complex negotiations involving pricing strategies, contract terms, and risk management for multi-year engagements.
- Proposal Excellence: Oversee RFI/RFP responses, ensuring professional storytelling and high-quality commercial accuracy.
6. Pipeline Discipline & Reporting
- CRM Integrity: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and measurable KPIs (Win Rate, TCV, and ARR).
- Global Synergy: Build strong internal networks across CGI’s global business units to leverage wider capabilities for local wins.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Experience: 10+ years of proven success in Business Development or Account Management within IT Services or Management Consulting.
- Growth Record: A demonstrated track record of achieving 8–12% YoY growth through new logo acquisition and account expansion.
- Consulting Background: Mandatory experience in a consulting firm environment with expertise in solution selling and pursuit governance.
- Local Network: Strong existing professional network and access to decision-makers within the Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia market.
- Skills: Superior negotiation, executive presentation, and persuasive proposal-writing capabilities.
Preferred (Strong Advantage)
- Regional Reach: Existing network or selling experience in the Singapore enterprise sector.
- Vertical Expertise: Familiarity with industries such as Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Utilities, or Manufacturing.
- Complex Deals: Experience in selling large-scale managed services or multi-year digital transformation programs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology; an MBA is highly regarded.
Travel & Work Style
- Location: Primarily based in Kuala Lumpur.
- Mobility: Open to occasional travel to Singapore based on project and pipeline requirements.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
