Senior RE Engineer

Salary expectation – 5000 – 7000 MYR/Month, depending on experience

Be part of the transition to clean, renewable energy. We are looking for a driven Senior RE Engineer to play a key role in delivering run-of-river mini-hydro projects. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys leading projects, managing contractors, and bringing renewable infrastructure from concept through to construction and operation.

What You’ll Do

• Seek, Evaluate, and develop future mini-hydro projects, in support with our partners
• Plan, coordinate, and execute mini-hydro power plant projects as part of the core project delivery team.
• Lead contractor and supplier coordination, ensuring project milestones, quality standards, and budgets are met.
• Work closely with authorities, consultants, suppliers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, conceptual design, and new project development opportunities.
• Support the delivery of projects against schedule, cost, technical, and operational performance targets.
• Participate in site assignments during construction and commissioning when required

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects.
• Strong project management and contractor management experience (essential).
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure, especially mini-hydro.
• Familiarity with regulatory approvals and processes involving SEDA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and relevant federal/state authorities.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project is an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
