Job Purpose
Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for engineered products and systems, from concept development to commercialization and continuous improvement. This role drives product innovation, certification, manufacturing readiness, and product reliability while supporting global market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full product development lifecycle including design, BOM, material selection, DFMEA, documentation, and product standardization.
- Lead prototype development, testing, validation, and transition to commercial production.
- Coordinate product certifications and compliance activities including CE, PED, ASME, and Notified Body approvals.
- Manage CAD design systems, PDM/PLM platforms, engineering revisions, and technical documentation.
- Support PLC-based systems and automation using Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Work with Sales and customers on product customization and application engineering.
- Support technical training, product presentations, and commercialization activities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure production readiness, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Manage ERP-related engineering data, inventory planning, and product master information.
- Drive product lifecycle management, warranty analysis, and continuous product improvement.
- Lead department planning, project timelines, and engineering resource management.
- Mentor engineering teams and support recruitment and technical capability development.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in product development, engineering design, industrial equipment, or technical manufacturing.
- Experience in oil & gas, industrial gas systems, cryogenic systems, pressure vessels, or process equipment preferred.
- Strong experience in product commercialization, certification, prototype development, and manufacturing scaling.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and PDM/PLM systems.
- Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, engineering documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
