Kum Hoi Engineering Industries Hiring! Full Time Environmental Executive in Selangor - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities :

1. Ensure company operations comply with environmental laws, regulations, and DOE requirements.

2. Liaise with relevant government authorities such as Department of Environment (DOE) and local authorities.

3. Monitor environmental licenses, permits, and renewals to ensure validity and compliance.

4. Prepare and submit environmental reports required by authorities.

5. Ensure compliance with Environmental Quality Act and related regulations.

6. Monitor scheduled waste handling, storage, labeling, and disposal activities.

7. Coordinate with licensed waste contractors for collection and disposal.

8. Maintain scheduled waste inventory records and documentation.

9. Ensure proper housekeeping and environmental control at scheduled waste storage areas.

10. Prepare monthly and yearly scheduled waste reports.

11. Environmental Monitoring & Improvement

12. Conduct environmental inspections and internal audits within production areas.

13. Monitor air pollution control systems, wastewater, noise, and environmental impact.

14. Investigate environmental incidents, complaints, or non-compliance cases and recommend corrective actions.

15. Support implementation of environmental improvement projects and sustainability initiatives.

16. Promote environmental awareness among employees.

17. Documentation & ISO Management

18. Maintain environmental records, reports, SOPs, and documentation.

19. Assist in implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

20. Support internal and external audits related to environmental compliance.

21. Ensure all environmental procedures are updated and properly implemented.

22. Conduct environmental-related training and awareness programs for employees.

23. Work closely with production, maintenance, QA, and safety departments on environmental matters.

24. Coordinate environmental activities with external consultants and contractors when required.

Job Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum 3 – 4 years working experience in environmental compliance within manufacturing or engineering industry.

3. Knowledge in DOE regulations, scheduled waste management, and environmental compliance requirements.

4. Familiar and well verse with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

5. Experience handling environmental audits and authority inspections is an advantage.

6. Have Certified Environmental Professional in Bag Filter Operation (CePBFO), CePSWaM, Waste Water Treatment & OSH-Coordinator Certification are an advantage.

7. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

8. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

9. Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
