The group of companies is an innovative technology company specializing in advanced AI manufacturing, including robotics, drone systems, intelligent automation and machine vision solution. In collaboration with a Malaysian partner and with support from the state government, they have established production facilities in Batu Kawan, Penang. As part of their expansion, they are inviting experienced engineers to join the team, with overseas training opportunities provided for those new to the field. Responsibilities

• Design and develop optical products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and performance requirements (including lenses, cameras, and lighting systems).
• Resolve optical-related issues throughout the product development lifecycle, including light distribution and illumination design.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to refine technical requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
• Conduct product testing and validation to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Prepare and present technical documentation and product development reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Vision/Optical Design Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge in optics principles and optical product design.
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Good understanding of optical components such as lenses, cameras, and lighting systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Results-driven, responsible, and able to meet project timelines efficiently.
• Willing to travel and work overtime when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
