OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (SEA FREIGHT EXPORT)

Location: Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
Salary: RM3,000 – RM3,700
Contract: 6 Months

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for candidates with experience in sea freight / freight forwarding to support export operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role provides hands-on exposure to international shipment coordination and documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle export shipment bookings and coordination
• Prepare and verify shipping documents (BL, Manifest, Invoice, etc.)
• Update shipment details in internal systems (e.g. CW1)
• Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, customers, and overseas offices
• Monitor shipment status and support issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with SOP and documentation requirements
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business, or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or sea freight operations
• Familiar with shipping documents such as Bill of Lading and Manifest
• Experience handling export shipments is highly preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
