Pharmacy Assistant (Industrial In-House Clinic)Job Summary
The Pharmacy Assistant supports the daily operations of the in-house clinic pharmacy by assisting in medication dispensing, inventory management, documentation, and administrative duties while ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of the Medical Doctor or Occupational Health personnel.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and stock arrangement of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor medication inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or expired stock.
- Record and maintain accurate dispensing logs, inventory records, and clinic documentation.
- Assist employees with basic enquiries regarding medication usage as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Support health screening programs, vaccination activities, and occupational health initiatives conducted by the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Possesses at least a Diploma in Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related field.
- Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or industrial healthcare setting is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of medication handling and inventory management.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
