Required Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting.
At least 5 years of working experience in finance, accounting, commerical support roles in operational finance.
Proficiency with standard accounting principles.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required for supporting Taiwan Operation.
Proficiency in using IT Tools including Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce applications inclusive but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Pivot Table, Power Point etc.
Strong awareness of cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
Strong collaboration skills, as well as strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, at various organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Embracing positive attitude to work in challenging environments and embracing high performance culture.
Agile and self-driven professionals can adapt quickly to evolving requirements, operate independently, and work collaboratively across teams when needed.
Job responsibilities
• Ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP- ensures compliance with FRG plus the local GAAP requirements.
• Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities are performed accordingly.
• Supports Project Manager (PM) that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
• To support the PM in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities– taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities. Contributing to and implementing business plans, including financial management and strategic review of the business
• To assist, clarify, elaborate and optimize all relevant commercial issues, such as analyzing and commenting on contracts, including legal aspects, determining the business model (NCM, consortium, subcontractor, split contract), preparation of relevant documents, tax concept, insurance, currency issues, compliance, ECC, cash flow, review of NDA/ MoU etc.
• As part of the offer process, reviewing request for quotation, working with operations/bid team to review costing and ensuring lessons learned is implemented, developing commercial scope that brings higher OEM value add and where necessary negotiating contracts/offers
