About The Company

Randstad has recently partnered with a global leader from the UK in providing digital radio systems. They are currently expanding their sales team in Malaysia. They are looking to hire a Regional Business Development Manager to cover the South East Asia region.

About The Job

  • Identify and develop new markets, verticals, and opportunities in new countries.
  • Manage regional partners and existing accounts within the Southeast Asia critical communications industry.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and account growth.
  • Create comprehensive account plans that map key players, assess expansion possibilities, and align with the organisation's business priorities.
  • Drive sales through new and existing partners to increase recurring revenue and renewals in Southeast Asia.
  • Respond to tenders and requests for information from partners and end users.
  • Protect margins and clarify product value by managing potential channel conflicts.

About The Manager/team

Opportunity to work closely with the global management team.

About The Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience in LMR (Land Mobile Radio) or telecommunications environments, covering telecommunication and government sectors.
  • Open to consider candidates with sales experience selling 4G/5G solutions or from the IT distributor environment.
  • Regional sales experience involving large regional systems integrator.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to present sales strategies to high-level management.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to travel regionally in Southeast Asia approximately 50% of the time, including occasional travel to the UK.
