Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies that support both immediate business priorities and the organisation’s long-term vision
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring seamless integration across platforms, systems, and business functions
- Partner with Subdomain Tech Leads to shape and refine technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivery priorities
- Provide strategic insights, technical analysis, and forecasting to support planning, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions
- Drive technical assessments, governance, and compliance initiatives, including audit readiness, risk evaluations, and vendor assessments in collaboration with procurement and risk management teams
Operational Excellence
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, proactively resolving challenges to maintain delivery momentum and operational stability
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence by establishing high standards for code quality, technical design, documentation, and delivery practices
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise backlogs based on business value, technical dependencies, and delivery impact
- Lead, mentor, and support multiple engineering teams, squads, or hives, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Leverage expertise in livestreaming technologies, with preference for experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, to drive domain-specific solution delivery and innovation
Process Optimisation & Governance
- Lead initiatives to improve engineering processes, enhancing productivity, quality, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration
- Identify and manage interdependencies across projects and teams to reduce delivery risks and improve execution timelines
- Champion solution standardisation and encourage the reuse of shared services, frameworks, and components across the organisation
- Define, implement, and maintain engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices aligned with enterprise technology policies
- Partner with IT Change and Release Management teams to design strategic release plans that balance feature delivery, operational stability, and risk management
- Cultivate a continuous learning culture where engineers are encouraged to pursue technical growth, innovation, and professional excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certifications are highly regarded
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies, engineering practices, and industry trends
- Demonstrated understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks within regulated industries such as IT Related Services, Financial/Banking Services, or Live Streaming.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale technology initiatives and influence technical strategy across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
- Experience operating within Agile delivery environments and leading distributed or cross-functional engineering teams is highly preferred
