Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots the specialized vehicles and equipment used to service aircraft, such as tugs, power units, loaders, passenger steps, Hi-Lift Trucks. To ensure operational safety and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency repairs on diesel, gasoline, electrical, and hydraulic ground equipment.
- Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and operational standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of services performed on equipment.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with at least 1-2 years of related GSE experiences.
- Able to read and understand basic Electrical Schematic diagrams is an advantage.
- Able to troubleshoot.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Ability to travel multiple locations when required for training & services.
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills.
- Good team player with ability to work independently.
- Specialized certifications (welding, or specific GSE types) are highly valued.
- Possess a class 5 driving license is an advantage.
Working Hour: 8am – 5.45pm
