Job Description

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

As Head of Product Management and Portfolio based in Singapore, you will play an instrumental role in shaping how products are managed from conception through delivery to ongoing evolution.

  • You will be responsible for designing, stewarding, and evolving the product management operating model including lifecycle governance and capability development to ensure best-in-class standards across the entire portfolio.
  • You will establish robust product management standards, practices, and tools that enable consistent execution across all products while integrating seamlessly with Marketing, Technology, Sales, Buying, and Commercial systems.
  • You will develop and translate product strategy into actionable portfolio investment decisions supported by clear governance frameworks that balance strategic growth with optimisation initiatives.
  • You will create mechanisms that make trade-offs explicit between innovation investments and near-term market responsiveness while ensuring portfolio composition aligns with enterprise priorities.
  • You will oversee the coherence and prioritisation of product roadmaps across the portfolio by leveraging market insights, customer needs analysis, technical dependencies assessment, and economic value evaluation.
  • You will implement prioritisation frameworks that balance customer impact with business value while maintaining transparency through effective communication with stakeholders.
  • You will ensure the integrity and application of market, customer, and usage insights across all product decisions by systematically capturing feedback loops connecting customer outcomes to ongoing product evolution.
  • You will develop deep understanding of competitor products to inform strategic pivots as well as maintain pricing architecture responsive to competitive shifts while safeguarding margin integrity.
  • You will monitor product-level economics closely adjusting pricing or packaging as needed to optimise financial performance at the portfolio level.
  • You will establish frameworks tracking adoption rates, utilisation metrics, retention figures, and overall customer value realisation ensuring continuous improvement based on data-driven insights.

What you bring:

To excel as Head of Product Management and Portfolio you bring substantial experience overseeing complex portfolios within multinational environments where system clarity drives success more than direct intervention.

  • Extensive experience successfully leading large-scale product management functions or portfolio systems within complex organisations spanning multiple regions or market segments.
  • Deep capability in managing full product lifecycles including governance processes that support scalable growth while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency linking architectural decisions around products directly to pricing strategies as well as monetisation models resulting in sustainable economic outcomes.
  • Proven track record utilising market research alongside customer insight analytics to guide strategic execution at both tactical and enterprise levels.
  • Experience fostering cross-functional collaboration among Marketing, Technology, Sales, Buying or Commercial teams ensuring alignment towards common objectives.
  • Ability to lead through clarity of systems rather than hands-on delivery—empowering others while providing clear direction rooted in organisational strategy.
  • Exceptional judgement when it comes to prioritising competing demands coupled with strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Commercially minded approach underpinned by pragmatic decision-making focused on measurable outcomes over arbitrary targets or trends.
  • Resilience in adapting quickly amidst changing circumstances combined with an outcome-oriented mindset driven by continuous improvement principles.
