Location: Johor
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager – Customs Brokerage to lead and oversee branch-level customs operations within a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery while driving team performance and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in resource planning, operational optimization, and change management, ensuring the organization is well-positioned to meet both current and future business demands.

This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery while driving team performance and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in resource planning, operational optimization, and change management, ensuring the organization is well-positioned to meet both current and future business demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end customs brokerage operations at the branch level
- Drive resource planning and workforce optimization, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet productivity and growth targets
- Monitor and manage operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with budget and service expectations
- Implement and continuously improve operational standards, processes, and workflows
- Oversee performance across operations, including productivity, service quality, subcontractor management, and incident handling
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Proactively assess and manage operational risks, including contingency planning
- Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and operational staff to enhance performance and accountability
- Lead and drive change management initiatives within the branch to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with commercial teams and support customer engagements when required
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage operations
- Strong understanding of customs processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record in team leadership, performance management, and operational excellence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
