Role Overview
We are seeking an elite Project Manager to lead high-risk digital forensics and OSINT investigation programs. This is not a coordination role—you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex investigative initiatives, ensuring forensic integrity, intelligence accuracy, and defensibility under legal and executive scrutiny.
You must operate with the mindset of an investigator, not a scheduler—capable of managing ambiguity, adversarial environments, and multidisciplinary teams across cyber, legal, and intelligence domains.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead multi-stream digital forensics and OSINT investigations from initiation to closure
- Manage concurrent high-sensitivity cases (fraud, cybercrime, insider threat, attribution) under tight timelines
- Translate ambiguous investigative objectives into structured project plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Ensure programs meet legal, regulatory, and evidentiary standards
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Interface directly with senior stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, CISO, Intelligence Leads)
- Establish governance frameworks for investigative decision-making and escalation
- Manage conflicting priorities across forensic, OSINT, and cybersecurity teams
- Present findings, risks, and recommendations at executive level
Technical Oversight (Non-Delegable)
- Oversee forensic workflows (Autopsy-based investigations) ensuring methodological rigor
- Direct OSINT strategy (Maltego-driven link analysis, entity resolution, attribution logic)
- Challenge assumptions, validate findings, and ensure outputs are defensible—not speculative
- Ensure adherence to chain of custody, evidence handling, and auditability
Risk, Quality & Integrity Control
- Identify risks related to data integrity, false positives, and investigative bias
- Implement controls to detect data manipulation, anti-forensics, and OSINT deception
- Ensure all deliverables can withstand legal scrutiny or external audit
Reporting & Communication
- Deliver executive-ready and court-defensible reports
- Translate complex forensic and OSINT outcomes into actionable intelligence
- Defend program decisions and investigative outcomes under challenge
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- 5–8+ years in Project/Program Management within cybersecurity, digital forensics, intelligence, or investigations
- Proven leadership of high-stakes investigative programs, not just IT projects
- Prior hands-on exposure to digital forensics and/or OSINT tools (e.g., Autopsy, Maltego)
- Demonstrated ability to manage legal-sensitive or evidentiary-based projects
- Strong understanding of forensic processes, OSINT validation, and investigative methodologies
- Experience working in adversarial, ambiguous, or incomplete data environments
Strongly Preferred (But Expected at This Level)
- Experience managing investigations involving fraud, cybercrime, insider threats, or nation-state attribution scenarios
- Ability to challenge technical experts and defend decisions without relying solely on specialists
- Familiarity with OPSEC considerations and intelligence lifecycle management
- Proven experience ensuring outputs are defensible in legal or regulatory contexts
