Responsibilities
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 6–9 years of relevant logistics and warehouse management experience, including team leadership, transportation coordination, inventory management, KPI monitoring, and process improvement in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
Planning & Strategy:
* Develop logistics strategies to improve efficiency
* Plan delivery routes and transportation schedules
* Forecast logistics requirements based on business demand
* Optimize warehouse space utilization
Supply Chain Coordination:
* Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments
* Ensure smooth material flow from suppliers to customers
* Manage inbound and outbound supply chain activities
* Support demand planning and order fulfillment
Warehouse Management:
* Monitor receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch operations
* Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory practices
* Improve warehouse productivity and accuracy
* Control damages, losses, and returns
Transportation Management:
* Manage fleet operations and vehicle utilization
* Track delivery performance and driver productivity
* Ensure transport safety and legal compliance
* Handle urgent shipments and escalation cases
KPI & Performance Monitoring:
* Track KPIs such as:
* Delivery turnaround time
* Inventory accuracy
* Order fulfillment rate
* Transportation cost
* Warehouse productivity
* Prepare management reports and presentations
Process Improvement:
* Implement automation and digital solutions
* Improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
* Lead continuous improvement projects
Health, Safety & Compliance:
* Ensure workplace safety standards
* Conduct safety audits and toolbox meetings
* Handle incident investigations
* Ensure compliance with ISO or company standards
Budgeting & Financial Control:
* Prepare logistics budgets
* Monitor operational expenses
* Approve vendor invoices
* Control overtime and manpower costs
Technology & Systems:
* Generate logistics analytics reports
* Monitor barcode/RFID systems
* Support digital transformation initiatives
Client & Stakeholder Management:
* Attend customer meetings
* Handle client escalations
* Maintain SLA (Service Level Agreement) performance
* Build relationships with transporters and vendors
Leadership Responsibilities:
* Conduct staff performance reviews
* Recruit and train logistics employees
* Develop succession planning
* Motivate and manage large operations teams
* Reduce operational costs
* Improve delivery speed
* Increase warehouse efficiency
* Support automation and AI-based logistics systems
* Manage multinational operations and regional distribution centers
