Job Description

Responsibilities

Our client is a fast-growing recruitment and talent solutions startup focused on connecting businesses with high-quality talent across multiple industries. They are building a modern, agile, and relationship-driven recruitment business with strong emphasis on delivery excellence, speed, and long-term partnerships.

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager / Recruitment Consultant with a strong hunter mentality, proven sales track record, and solid end-to-end recruitment experience to help scale our client's portfolio and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, develop, and win new client accounts across target industries

  • Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and market mapping

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and decision-makers

  • Pitch recruitment and talent solutions services to prospective clients

  • Negotiate commercial terms, service agreements, and recruitment fees

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals

Market & Industry Expertise

  • Stay updated on hiring trends, talent movements, and market conditions

  • Develop niche market knowledge and talent pipelines

  • Contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes, business growth, and service offerings

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, executive search, or talent solutions

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and placement KPIs

  • Strong hunter mentality with confidence in business development and cold outreach

  • Solid understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and consultative selling

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a startup environment

  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Prior experience selling or supporting BPO / outsourcing / staffing solutions

  • Existing client network within Singapore or regional markets

  • Experience in agency recruitment or RPO environments

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and CRM tools
