Responsibilities

Position Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager that has experienced in Construction Industry to lead and coordinate the development and expansion of new mining sites in Malaysia.


This role reports directly to the Director and works closely with Site Operations and Support Functions, to ensure all activities required for new site setup are properly planned, budgeted, executed, and completed within timeline and approved investment parameters.


The Project Manager will act as the overall project owner — responsible for financial feasibility, cost control, resources, timeline management, inter-department coordination, and risk management and regulatory management — until full site commissioning and formal handover.


Experienced in end-to-end construction related projects, strong financial acumen, commercial judgment, people management and collaboration, and cost discipline are critical for this role.


Requirements:


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mining, Civil, Quantity Surveyor or Project Management.
  • PMP / CCMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years in construction, mining, heavy industry, plant setup, or industrial project development.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets.
  • Experience conducting financial feasibility or cost analysis for industrial projects and construction project
  • Ability to identify and attract the relevant subject matter experts that involved in the projects.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination background.
