YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Contract Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Key Operation Responsibilities
o To lead a team of logistics assistants/team lead in carrying daily warehouse activities
o To lead the team in meeting Key Performance Indicators and department operations goals
o To ensure conformance of workplace safety and operations procedures
o To work closely with customers and internal stakeholders in ensuring seamless customer throughput
o Monitor staff performance and participate in annual staff appraisal; address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the company
o To train new logistics assistants
o To be able to handle ad-hoc logistics projects
o Ensure and monitor team compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
o Ensure team understanding and implementation on Company’s Value in daily work behaviors
o Plan and monitor team performance including giving coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
o Implement work improvement initiative and programs such as 5S, Kaizens and LEAN with the goal of achieving Operational Excellence within the operations
o Inventory Management using internal WMS and Customer’s SAP system
o Adhere to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
o Maintain and ensure safe keeping and traceability of relevant customer’s document / records
o Capture and update on all KPIs measurement, orders management, and orders’ turnaround time metrics etc.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Diploma with 2-3 years’ experience preferred
- Working experiences with Warehouse Management System / SAP preferred Experience in dealing with customers of all levels
- Competent in MS Office Application
- Meticulous and able to multi-task
