Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to primarily support Group compliance and governance functions, while also overseeing the finance operations of the Group’s Europe and US entities. This is a newly created additional role to strengthen the Group Finance structure and support the Group’s growing international footprint. The role will work closely with overseas finance teams, external advisors, auditors, company secretaries, and internal stakeholders across the Group.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Group Compliance & Governance

  • Support Group statutory compliance and corporate governance matters across the Group.
  • Coordinate with company secretaries on board resolutions, statutory filings, and directors’ documentation.
  • Support SGX-related reporting and compliance matters where applicable.
  • Assist in sustainability reporting and ESG data coordination.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany compliance matters.
  • Assist in maintaining Group policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.


Overseas Finance Operations

  • Oversee finance operations and reporting for the Group’s Europe and US entities.
  • Coordinate with overseas finance teams, external auditors, tax agents, and service providers.
  • Monitor financial performance, statutory compliance, and operational matters of overseas entities.
  • Support intercompany reconciliations, treasury coordination, and consolidation reporting.


Process Improvement

  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives across finance and compliance functions.
  • Work with finance and IT teams to improve reporting efficiency and standardization.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CPA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or compliance.
  • Exposure to corporate governance, statutory compliance, sustainability reporting, or transfer pricing would be an advantage.
  • Experience handling overseas entities or regional finance operations is preferred.
  • Familiar with SAP or ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
