Role Description

Based at Menara KOMTAR, Johor Bahru, the Executive, Learning & Performance (LEAP), will focus on creating, coordinating, and managing training and performance improvement initiatives to enhance employee development. Key responsibilities include designing training programs, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating with departments to identify and address learning needs.


Key Responsibilities

1) Training Needs Analysis & Planning

• Conduct Training Needs Assessment and analyse findings

• Provide recommendations to enhance training effectiveness and workforce capability

• Conduct research, benchmarking and costing related to training and performance subjects

2) Training Administration & Compliance

• Process training requisitions including registration, training memo issuance, HRDF/HRDC claims, vendor payment, and post-training evaluation

• Ensure compliance with HRDC guidelines and regulations in all training-related submissions and claims

3) Learning Coordination & Delivery

• Organise and coordinate in-house training programs in alignment with the Annual Training Plan

• Make logistics arrangements including venue set-up, layout plan, refreshments, training materials, and required facilities

• Coordinate ad hoc trainings raised by business entities

4) Reporting & Systems Management

• Maintain accurate records in the Master Training Report and Individual Training Report

• Update and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to track and report learning progress and training status

5) Learning Impact & Experience Enhancement

• Conduct post-training evaluations to measure training effectiveness

• Support initiatives that improve learner engagement and contribute to a strong learning culture

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field

• Fresh graduate or individual with working experience in Human Resource Management

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong planning, organising, and multitasking abilities

• Well-versed in HRDC guidelines and claim management processes

• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• A team player, proactive, dynamic, and capable of driving positive learning and development initiatives
