About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented NPI Engineer to support new product introduction for cable assembly programs. This role will focus on BOM creation, failure analysis (FA), and engineering change management (ECO), ensuring products are successfully transferred from development to mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support NPI activities from project kick-off to production release
- Develop, validate, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for new products
- Coordinate and execute Failure Analysis (FA) for product and process issues
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and ensure proper documentation control
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product transfer
- Liaise with customers and regional stakeholders for technical clarification and updates
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal QMS and customer requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for process and product quality
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Strong interest in manufacturing / NPI environment
- Good coordination and communication skills across stakeholders
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively
Good to Have (Advantage):
- Experience in cable assembly or E&E manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with BOM creation, FA processes, or ECO handling
- Exposure to customer interaction and technical discussions
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written) to support regional stakeholder coordination
