Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced L2 Systems Admin to provide Windows and Network support at our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows systems and network administration. This role requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to ensure smooth operations at our work sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Windows systems and network infrastructure at client work locations.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
- Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- Perform patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation
- Administer services such as IIS, file servers, and print services
- Monitor system performance and event logs
- Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers
- Perform system hardening and security compliance (e.g., CIS benchmarks)
- Manage user access, permissions, and SSH controls
- Implement and manage enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault)
- Configure backup policies (full, incremental, differential)
- Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures
- Perform regular restore testing (file-level, VM-level, full system)
- Ensure compliance with retention and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Monitor network performance and ensure network security aligned per the customer standards.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and support IT projects.
- Document and maintain IT procedures and configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows and network administration.
- Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel to client work locations as needed.
