Job summary
The Pricing Advisor serves as a strategic and technical expert in pricing, yield management, and commercial optimization, delivering high-impact advice to senior and executive leadership, driving cross-functional pricing initiatives, managing cross-functional project teams and engaging internal and external SMEs as required, securing commitment from senior/executive management to project goals, and enhancing pricing processes and systems to support profitable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develops strategic pricing frameworks to optimize revenue, yield, and margin.
Designs value-based, competitive, and dynamic pricing models with measurable business outcomes.
Produces pricing effectiveness KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
Designs, documents, and improves end-to-end pricing processes to ensure pricing velocity, competitiveness, and consistency.
Identifies process gaps, risks, and bottlenecks; recommends and implements improvements.
Ensures cross-functional adoption and understanding of pricing processes.
Defines and tracks pricing process KPIs (accuracy, turnaround time, compliance etc.).
Leads communication, change management, and training related to pricing processes.
Enhances analytical and technological capabilities to support pricing transformation.
Identifies opportunities to leverage advanced technology (automation, AI/ML, scenario simulation) and collaborates with IT, Data, and Global Pricing teams to enhance pricing systems, tools, and workflows.
Defines business requirements for new system capabilities and automation.
Acts as SME for pricing systems, providing training, guidance, and troubleshooting.
Develops and maintains pricing policies, guidelines, and approval workflows.
Ensures compliance with internal controls, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drives alignment with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to uphold governance discipline.
Advises on high-impact strategic deals and RFPs.
Conducts profitability analysis, cost modelling, and discount elasticity assessments.
Partners with Sales to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing recommendations.
Leads high-impact regional or corporate pricing initiatives.
Drives stakeholder alignment, project planning, and communication.
Provides subject-matter expertise and coaching to internal partners.

Minimum Education
· Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with major in marketing research or strategic marketing, Finance/Economics, Engineering or related analytical fields.
