Responsibilities
Description:
- Report directly to the Head of Centres.
- Plan and ensure proper execution of the Activities programmes at our SCCs, ensuring:
· Happiness of the clients,
· Social and psychological outcomes in line with care plan
· Safety of clients
· Ensure that daily documents are filled correctly by the HCA.
-Train and manage the teams of HCAs to ensure that activities are properly conducted.
- Work closely with the SCC operational teams (Centre Manager, Assistant Centre Manager,
Nurses, etc), to:
· Make sure that the planned activities are in line with operational requirements and with client’s medical requirements
· Facilitate any special activities done with community partners
· Facilitate outings from time to time.
- Be very familiar with the centre’s SOPs with regards to operations and safe care of clients.
- Point of contact for all external community partners for programmes and volunteerism at the SCC.
- Work closely with other managers to ensure that all MOH service requirements are strictly adhered to through rigorous and constant internal checks regarding operations and client activities.
- Participate & represent on behalf of the company’s services with confidence.
- Communicate clearly and appropriately with clients & business partners, always speaking with the understanding of tone and choice of words.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree preferably, in any field.
- 5-days work week. Some weekends (Some Sat & Sun may be required).
- Preferably minimum 2 years in a similar role in a elderly daycare centre, childcare setting, arts & craft and other hobbies would be good to have.
- Must be very familiar and efficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience working with elderly in the community preferably.
- No experience but with excellent attitude and work ethics will be considered.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Able to speak local languages and dialect (preferable) to communicate with the elderly in the community.
